COOPER B-LINE - GS METALS HEAVY-DUTY GRIP STRUT® SAFETY GRATING SIGNIFICANTLY REDUCES BRIDGE MAINTENANCE (INSPECTION TIME) AND IMPROVES SAFETY

Cooper B-Line - GS Metals (H-Series) Heavy-Duty GRIP STRUT® Safety Grating (the original safety grating), Planks, Walkways and Stair Treads feature an aggressive serrated surface providing maximum slip protection under practically all environmental conditions encountered on bridges. GRIP STRUT Grating is ideally suited for all walking/working surfaces where rain, ice, snow, grease, oil and mud create slippery or hazardous conditions. The open design lets liquids pass through to keep the grating surface clear and sheds slip-causing stones, dirt and debris. Heavy-Duty GRIP STRUT Grating Products are designed for applications requiring greater load or longer span.

GRIP STRUT Safety Grating is often used for, but not limited to, bridge platforms, catwalks, stair treads, ladder rungs, walkways and work platforms, providing the safest surfaces for bridge maintenance and inspection work. Heavy-Duty GRIP STRUT Grating offers significant maintenance and cost savings over the life of a bridge. It is much safer than using expensive, hazardous and time-consuming inspection “snooper” gantries, scaffolding and vehicle-mounted booms and cranes that can cause both traffic flow and safety problems.

Heavy-Duty GRIP STRUT Safety Grating is available in a variety of gauges and sizes in steel and aluminum. Configurations include widths up to 36 inches and lengths up to 24 feet, clear span without extra support, and side channel depths up to five inches on Heavy Duty GRIP STRUT walkways. The five-inch depth meets OSHA toeboard requirements for elevated structures.
