Cooper B-Line is announcing the release of a new line of depth adjustable four post equipment racks. These products were developed to provide a B-Line rack solution that offers the flexibility of depth adjustment in addition to the other high quality features already built into our equipment racks. The SB837 series adjustable depth four post rack is a #12-24 tapped hole mounting rail version similar to our SB830 series rack. The SB838 series adjustable depth four post rack is an EIA square hole server rack similar to our SB836 series rack.
 The SB837 and SB838 series racks were designed to deliver -
- Installation flexibility - These new racks are depth adjustable in increments of 1" in 18" to 24", 24" to 30", 30" to 36" or 36" to 42" overall. Rack depth can be optimized by the user to deal with issues like limited room clearance, installing equipment with different depth/weight loads or differing installation applications.
- Improvement on a high quality B-Line product - This depth adjustment is a new feature addition to our already strong offering in racks, which include permanent RMU markings, UL listing, high load rating, ease of assembly and installation, and high quality materials and hardware.
- Improved packaging - These new racks come packaged in the same sized box used for our standard two post rack. Utilizing clever product design, we were able to have the parts fit together in the box perfectly, which yields the benefits of reduced shipping costs, greatly reduced potential for shipping damage and reduced room needed store the product until it is used.
- Competitive pricing - Like other B-Line products, you'll find that the new SB837 and SB838 Series racks are priced competitively with other solutions in the marketplace yet have feature and benefits that often make them a better value than competitive products.

- SB837 Racks = Open 19” 4-post frame with #12-24 tapped hole extruded aluminum mounting rails with EIA-310-D universal 5/8”, 5/8”, ½” hole pattern
- SB838 Racks = Open 4-post frame with 19” EIA square hole 14 gauge steel mounting rails with EIA-310-D universal 5/8”, 5/8”, ½” hole pattern
- 2000 lb load capacity. Rails designed to allow for server rail clearance.
- UL listing pending to UL60950
- Three heights – 72” (38U), 84” (45U) and 96” (51U) of mounting space
- Depth adjustable in 1” increments in 18” to 24”, 24” to 30”, 30” to 36” or 36” to 42” overall depth
- Top cross and adjustment members are pre-drilled for runway attachment
- Permanently stamped RMU markings included
- Assembles in about 20 minutes using standard hand tools
- Ships unassembled in protective carton
- Standard finish: Flat Black Powder Coat (FB). Other finishes available on request
