Application:
- Houses electrical controls and instruments in an environment
which does not require oil and dust-tight specifications.
- Protects against contact with enclosed equipment.
Standards:
- UL 50 Listed, Type 1
- CSA C22.2 No. 40 certified, Type 1
- Conforms to NEMA Standard for Type 1
Construction:
- Enclosure and door are fabricated from (14) gauge steel.
- Enclosure body has mounting holes on the back which are
accessible whether the panel is installed or not.
- Door is secured to the body with a heavy-duty continuous
hinge on one side and slotted flush latches on the opposite side.
- Door and body have stiffeners for extra rigidity.
- Slotted flush latch is designed to operate with either a
coin or a screwdriver.
- 3/8"-16 collar studs are provided for mounting optional
panels.
- Keyed flush lock available.
Finish:
- Wash and phosphate undercoat.
- ANSI 61 gray polyester powder finish.
- Optional panels have a white enamel finish.
